Each of the papers below uses contemporary cognitive science — predictive processing and the free-energy principle — as a descriptive vocabulary for revisiting classical philosophical problems. The papers are independent, but together they articulate the different faces of the Generative Ontology programme: a methodological pillar (the asymmetry of ontological commitment), a core mechanism (attractor reification), and three test cases drawn from Buddhist philosophy, Chinese philosophy, and contemporary AI philosophy.
